1992 White House Commemorative Coins
The
United States Mint issued the 1992 White House 200th Anniversary Silver Dollar to celebrate the laying of the cornerstone on October 13, 1792. The coin depicts the north portico of the White House and the bust of James Hoban, the original architect.The uncirculated version of the coin was minted at Denver and sold 123,803 coins. The proof version of the coin was minted at West Point and sold 375,851 coins. The maximum authorized mintage across both version of the coin had been set at 500,000.
