1993 Thomas Jefferson Commemorative Coins
The United States Mint issued the 1993 Thomas Jefferson Silver Dollar to celebrate the 250th anniversary of his birth. Although the coins are dated 1993, the coins was issued in 1994.Only a single commemorative coin was issued for the program. The silver dollar had a maximum authoirzed mintage of 600,000. The uncirculated coins were produced at the Philadelphia Mint and had a final mintage of 266,927. The proof coins were produced at the San Francisco and had a final mintage of 332,891.
