1998 Robert F. Kennedy Commemorative Coins

The US Mint issued the Robert F. Kennedy Silver Dollar to coincide with the 30th anniversary of his death. The coins experienced elevated demand compared to other recently released commemorative silver dollars.

The obverse design features a portrait of Robert F. Kennedy designed by Thomas D. Rodgers, Sr. The reverse features the seals of the Department of Justice and the United States Senate.

A special two coin set was issued which include the Robert F. Kennedy Silver Dollar and a special matte proof version of the 1998 Kennedy Half Dollar.
