2007 Little Rock Commemorative Coins
The 2007 Little Rock Silver Dollar was issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of the Little Rock Central High School. The program included a silver dollar with a maximum mintage of 500,000 pieces.The obverse design of the coin shows the legs and feet of the "Little Rock Nine" accompanied by soldiers as they enter the school. The reverse of the coin shows an image of the high school. Several different sets were offered as part of the program. One included a bronze medal and the other was the annual American Legacy Collection which included proof versions of circulating coins.
