2010 Disabled Veterans Commemorative Coins
A commemorative coin program was created to honor American Veterans Disabled for Life. The silver dollar featured an image of the legs and boots of soldiers on the obverse and a wreath of oak leaves and branches on the reverse.A central inscription within the wreath reads, "Take this moment to honor our disabled defenders of freedom."
The 2010 Disabled Veterans Silver Dollars carried a maximum authorized mintage of 350,000 pieces across both proof and uncirculated versions.
